Staying on God's Side of the Fence

I was reading through "Our Daily Bread" (a devotional book) earlier today, and came across these words: "God's fences keep you within the bounds of His blessings." 

I know sometimes I want to do things my way, and don't even stop to consider what God's will is. These words helped me to remember(something I often forget) that while I am choosing my way over God's, I am stepping out of the bounds of His blessings.
I learned a great lesson form this devotional and I just wanted to share it with you. :-)

What freedom lies with all who choose,
To live for God each day!
But chains of bondage shackle those,
