Hi, We're the protection crew...

Meet our newest member, Serge.

He is very serious, (unlike Jimmy)

He blends in with his surroundings,

He has a Great smile,

And he's a Loving family Man!! ;o)

Adding Serge to our family!

Today we added little Serge to our family, and he's already proving to be an awesome addition. Why is he called Serge?:-) Taylor wanted to name him after Sergeant York, so that;s where he got his name from. 

 His ears are what got me.....I just love how furry they are. He is so sweet and I hope he will be a great addition to our protection crew. (which now consists of Jimmy and serge:-)

New Fonts and science experiments

This past week I got some new fonts from a place Called www.dafont.com   I absolutely Love it!! This font is called Cookie monster.

One of my new subjects this year is Physical Science. I am learning about how to prove things the scientific way. So for fun I proved that Kelele (my dog) was cute.
 



I think this might be too obvious...

1.)       State the problem- Is Kelele cute?

 

2.)       Research the problem- Ask family member- Yes;   Examine the obiect carefully- cute brown eyes!! <3;   Read matter on it- Wesley’s poem (the only matter written on him);   Weigh, measure, and perform various experiments- 90 lbs., 40 inch, furry, soft, a little dirty, black nose, pink tongue, wagging tail.

3.)      Formulate hypothesis- object is Cute!!

4.)       Test hypothesis- I saw him! <3

5.)       Communicate- told rest of family, wrote letters, Called local newspaper, wrote blogpost. ;)

A complete failure in obedience school, but a great friend and companion;

An Awesome Getaway!

     On Monday and Tuesday, of this last week, we went on a little trip, up by Mt. Kenya; We love  staying at the Naro Moru River Lodge.  I think this is one of my, favorite areas in Kenya ; I love, when the sky is all clear, and you can see the snow sprinkled on the peaks of the mountain.:-) Snow is a rare sight here in Kenya.:-) 

Anyway, we had an awesome get away, and thoroughly enjoyed our five course meals, oh and looking for crabs on the river bank (actually Zach was the one trying to find them and he kept calling me over to look at them:-)... I did get some nice sunburn from the powerful, equatorial sun, too.  (that wasn't, actually, something I enjoyed:-)
